Tom Hausner

Tome Hausner

Tom Hausner has over 30 years of Law Enforcement experience and is Commander of the Geneva Lake Law Enforcement Agency and retired as Sergeant from the Walworth County (WI) Sheriff's Office. Tom is a former United States Marine. For 23 years Tom work at Alpine Valley Music Theater, East Troy, WI, the 2nd largest outdoor concert venue in United States, serving the last 15 years as the Directory of Security and Operations.

He is a graduate of the FBI – National Academy 177th session, International Association of Chiefs of Police/Wisconsin Department of Justice – Executive Development Course. Northwestern University – Commanders Course on Hostage Incidents. FBI – Basic & Advanced SWAT, Basic & Advanced Hostage Negotiations. LA County Sheriff’s – Advanced SWAT Survival School. Wisconsin State Patrol – Professional Supervisory Development Program, Middle & Advanced Management Training Programs and has completed FEMA’s Emergence Response to Terrorism, Emergency Program Manager Incident Command and Emergency Preparedness Courses. He also previously served as the Emergency Government Directory for the Village of Walworth, Wisconsin.

Tom was a patrol division shift commander for 9 years, and was the Commander of the SWAT Team for 12 years. He served in the Court Security Division and led the department Honor Guard. He also served as the department adviser to the Patrol and Corrections divisions Field Training Programs.

As President/owner of Thomas Hausner & Associates, LLC, Tom has also provided personal protection services to many high profile clients, including Sir Paul McCartney. Tom also provides security-consulting services for many types of businesses, events, organizations and locations.

An Adjunct Instructor for Gateway Technical College and College of DuPage (IL), Tom teaches and trains in the areas of Field Training & Evaluation, Incident Command, School Violence Education, Workplace Violence and Prevention Planning, Active Shooters, Firearms, SWAT Tactics and Homicides involving Drunk Drivers. Tom is also a published author of numerous Law Enforcement articles concerning tactics and training.

Tom has been involved extensively in Emergency Planning for Schools and businesses. He has worked with numerous school districts, teaching and training over 2000 educators and school staff across the nation in an attempt to ensure they are prepared in the event of a Critical Incident.

John Czerwinski

Jhon Czerwinski

John started his career in the U.S Army Reserve and concluded his service as a Platoon Leader in the Regular Army 10 years later. He is currently a career Law Enforcement Officer of 19+ years. He Started at Milwaukee PD and after 5 years left for a County Sheriff’s Office in South Eastern Wisconsin.

He is in his 13th year as a SWAT officer and has been a team leader for the past 10. He is currently the Entry Team Leader. John is a Unified Tactics Instructor and a Master Firearms Instructor for the Wisconsin Department of Justice Law Enforcement Standards Board. John is the President of the Midwest Tactical Officers Association, which provides training and education to officers around the region. He coordinates their annual meetings and training as well. John continues to hone his skills by attending training with Tier One instructors, as both an instructor and a student.

Dennis Justus

Dennis Justus

Dennis J. Justus has been a Police Officer for the Milwaukee (WI) Police Department since 1989. His current assignment is with the Tactical Enforcement Unit (Swat) and has been on the team since 1993. Within the team, Dennis holds positions as a Sniper and an operator on the Weapons of Mass Destruction/Compromised Environment Team. Dennis has been a Lead Instructor since 1995 in the areas of Firearms, Defense and Arrest Tactics (DAAT), Low Light Tactics, Active Shooter and the Patrol Rifle. He has assisted with Recruit Training along with his Department’s In-Service Training in the disciplines previously listed. During his career with the Milwaukee Police Department, Dennis has received numerous letters of recognition from within and outside his department for actions taken as both a Police Officer and Tactical Operator. He has been presented with awards from MPD for the Medal of Valor-Combat and Meritorious Service.

Currently, Dennis is on the Board of Directors for the Association of Swat Personnel-Wisconsin, the nation's oldest Swat organization. He is the Chairman of the Training Committee and assists with Association sponsored training events and the annual training conference since 1994. He has assisted with Patrol and Tactical Training for students from jurisdictions throughout the state of Wisconsin in the fields of Tactics, General Patrol, Rapid Response to the Active Shooter, Basic and Advanced Swat Tactics and Leadership courses. Dennis has been recognized by ASP-WI and presented with the Paul Roemer Award for his commitment and service to Wisconsin’s tactical community. In addition, as a member of his team, Dennis has been presented with the ASP-WI “Team of the Year Award” three times.

In the past, Dennis has worked as a consultant for the Dodge County (WI) Sheriff’s Department, Milwaukee County (WI) Sheriff’s Department, Walworth County (WI) Sheriff’s Department, Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, St. Luke’s Hospital and the Wisconsin National Guard.

Dennis is also an Adjunct Instructor for both the Milwaukee Area Technical College and the Waukesha County Technical College in the areas of firearms, police tactics and the rapid response to the active shooter.
